Notes:

This hall was built in the late 1730s, was remodelled in the 1850s, and, having fallen into disrepair, was demolished in 1956. The engraving here was printed in 1875 and probably shows the hall after the remodelling.

There are some photographs (both inside and outside) at Coflein.

[Bryn-Y-Pys] is a very excellent example of a quiet Italian building, without pretentiousness, and is charmingly situated on an eminence of a well-timbered park. (p. 143)
