The Celtic god Cernunnos is crowned with antlers. He is sometimes also called as Herne the Hunter, and may be the Green Man of British folklore.

“[...] Under the church of Notre Dame, at Paris, were found in the last century two bas-reliefs of Celtic deities, the one Cerunnos (Fig. 11), the other Hesus (Fig. 12), corresponding to the Roman Mars.” (p. 7)
