Notes:

A late Victorian over-the-top feat of typography, with five colour printing.

Bless the LORD O my Soul, and forget not all His benefits.

The text is attributed to Psalm 103 verse 2, and uses the 1611 translation authorized by King James; newer ones say Praise the Lord, not Bless the Lord.

The text is surrounded by a border wit stylized vines and leaves, and with flowers, in red and green and blue and gold with black outlines, as are the letters.

The illustration takes up an entire page near the end of the book, and was tipped in with glue in such a way that it could be removed and framed.

Not shown, text above the border said, “Sunday at Home, December 1, 1868,” and, at the foot, Kronheim & Co.

Kronheim were colour printers based in London (UK), starting in 1845, and continuing until 2003 when they were bought by Appleton Inc.
