Thomas Allom was an English architect nd was one of the founders of what is now the Royal Institute of British Architects. he was part of the “historicism” art movement, which involved traveling and making drawings and paintings; Thomas Allom went as far as China, and ws known as an accomplished artist. There are some of his works at the Tate collection in the UK.
