The front cover of this slim volume shows, at the centre, a seated young woman with a sceptre, presumably a fairy queen, and to her left (our right) a princess with a crown. To the Queen’s right, a young man, perhaps a prince, with his hand on his heart. Either side of them are dancing dwarves, at least one of whom is barefoot. In the lower foreground is a monster with wings snarling at us. In the upper background, peeping out from the trees, are young children, watching the scene from above.

The cover is in colour, but whether somewhat faded by sunlight or by design i cannot tell.

There is a separate image of the monster.
