Notes:

A naked man lies dead in the background, his genitals conveniently hidden by a cloth. In the foreground, a man wearing only an animal-skin scurries barefoot away through the rocks. The biblical scene is well-known. The image has a caption:

“Cain and Abel By Lord Leighton, P.R.A., from “Dalziel’s Bible Gallery.”
