Notes:

A gargoyle or grotesque head for a stone fountain with winged barefoot and naked boys (putti, or cherubs) being mischievous and getting into fights. Although the grotesque head here looks like a fountain spout, what actually comes out are festoons, not water, tied to rings at either end of the sculpture.

Frise dessinée par Louis Tettelin et gravée par L Ferdinand.

Which is in English, Frieze designed by Louis Tettelin and engraved by L. Ferdinand

Louis Tettelin lived from 1615 to 1655, long before this book was published. The engraver is almost certainly Louis Ferdinand, but i am not sure which one!
