The Seal of the Vessel more
magic circles, occult, symbols, circles, magical circles, diagrams, kabalah, judaism, king solomon
A magic circle with an outer border, occult symbols between those two outer circles, and then a sort of triangular keyhole shape inside with symbols either side of it, and horizontal and vertical lines through and around it.
The seal was supposed to have been used as a stopper or seal by King Solomon to keep evil spirits shut up inside a brass jug or vase. There is no possibility that this comes from King Solomon, of course; medieval alchemists’ symbols were not then in use, and neither was what we would recognise today as Hebrew, if King Solomon even existed.
The seal in Figure 131 was made in brass to cover this vessel with at the top.
