Some pictures scanned from the Chatterbox Annual from 1916. Chatterbox was a magazine for boys published weekly in the UK from 1866 to the mid 1950s, and in the US from 1870 to 1933; I have a US edition. Project Gutenberg has a copy of the 1905 edition.
