Magazine of Art Illustrated Vol 6 (page 1/2)

details...

Images from The Magazine of Art. Illustrated (1883), published by Cassell, Petter, Galpin & Co., London, Paris and New York.

This was a monthly periodical, or magazine, that ran from 1878 to 1948; some later volumes included colour plates.

I have volumes three and six (this one).

The images i am posting from the book are out of copyright to the best of my knowledge, based on careful research.
