Jean-Édouard Dargent, a French artist, also known as Yan’ Dargent, was born in Saint-Servais in Brittany and died in Paris in 1899.

He was a painter and illustrator. He worked as an engineer and topographer in the Compagnie de l'Ouest before leaving to become a full-time artist. He decorated a number of churches in Brittany.
There is a museum, the Musée Yan’Dargent, in Saint-Servais, and a street named after him in Rennes.
