Włodzimierz Czacki was a Russian Roman Catholic (Papist) priest who became “titular archbishop” of Salamis in the year this picture was printed.

We see Czacki in his forties, with thin metal-rimmed spectacles, seated, wearing a necklace with a cross, the portrait surrounded by a drawing of a moderately ornate picture frame.

There is also an image with just the picture frame.

The portrait was drawn or painted by Mathieu, presumably in 1878, possibly Oscar-Pierre Mathieu, but i cannot read the name of the engraver.
