These six torture implements were captioned instruments of torture employed against the Christians, but they are not actually mentioned in the text.

The objects on the first row, the sharp teeth, the lead weights on bronze chains, and the two pairs of tweezers or pliers, have captions:

Uncus on croc.

And the second row:
