From book two of Troilus and Criseyde, a 14th century poem written by Geoffrey Chaucer and here illustrated by Edward Burne-Jones and published in 1896 by William Morris. The picture shows Troilus, a Trojan prince, meeting with Criseyde, in a medieval bedroom. In the background a window shows stars, telling us it is night-time.

This is a scan of the complete page; I have also made separate images for the outer decorative page border, the inner leafy border, and two wallpaper images, the picture of the lovers with the border, and the lovers without the border. There is also the William Morris decorative initial letter L.
