This decorative initial “T” was used a drop cap. It has been drawn in a mediaeval calligraphic style, and was printed in a reddish-yellow ink, a sort of gold colour. I cannot say for certain whether it was drawn by Evelyn Paul, but it is in the same style as the other illustrations in the book, so it seems likely.
