cupid: Cupid was the Roman god (in Greek, Eros) of love.
He was the son of Vulcan (or Mars) and Venus.
He’s usually depicted as a putto or cherub: a chubby boy, often with wings, and
often naked.
He shoots arrows from his bow,
and if they hit people, they fall in love.
