Charles William Wyllie was an English landscape and parine painter. Born in London on the 8th of February, 1853, he studied at Leigh's School of Art and at the Royal Academy of Art. Exhibited at the R.A. from 1872 to 1920. In his later years he took up decorative painting. He died on the 28th July, 1923. He had a brother, W. L. Wyllie, also an artist.
