Alfred Weczerzick was born in Herischdorf in Silesia, a region in Poland with parts in the Czech Republic and Germany. Herischdorf seems to be a German name for Jelenice in the Czech Republic.

Weczerzick was a painter and illustrator. He studied at the Berlin Academy with Otto Brausewatter, where he as sponsored by Paul Meyerheim. He exhibited at the Great Berlin Art Exhibitions from 1889, represented at the Berlin Academy Exhibitions, and, from 1906, exhibited at the Glaspalast in Munich. He was a member of the Association of Berlin Artists and of the Reich Association of Visual Artists of Germany.
