Northland Journeys, Part I (page 1/2)

Pictures from Nordland-Fahrten Erste Abtheilung by Francis Bronel, Dr Hans Hoffmann, and Richard Oberländer, second edition.

The copy i have of this book, approximately 9×13 inches (230x325mm) in size, has a hand-wrtiten inscription inside the front cover dated 1888, so the book was obviously issued before then; i found a bookseller’s catalogue listing it as being from 1881. But that might have been the first edition.

The book is a folio, approximately 33cm (13 inches) tall. There were originally several volumes in the series; i have seen at least three for sale online now. This one, i bought in Prague in 2019, i think either at Antikvariát Dlážděná or at Ztichlá Klika, both in the Old Town.
