A Zibet is another name for a civet, and n particular the Indian civet cat.
Fossane is another kind of civet, likely a Malagasy civit.
The Malacca Genet is almost certainly the Malayan civet.
This plate was inserted in the book in a discussion about skunks (which the book called skinks, confusingly, in this chapter).
