Naʹso.

The “surname” of Ovid, the Roman poet, author of Metamorphoses. Naso means “nose,” hence Holofernes’ pun: “And why Naso, but for smelling out the odoriferous flowers of fancy.” (Shakespeare: Love’s Labour’s Lost, iv. 2.)
