Life. Othello says, “Put out the light and then put out the light.” In May, 1886, Abraham Harper, a market-gardener, of Oxford, hit his wife in the face, and threatened to “put her light out,” for which he was fined 5s. and costs. (Truth, May 20th, 1886.)
