Henʹricans or Henricians.

A religious sect; so called from Henriʹcus, its founder, an Italian monk, who, in the twelfth century, undertook to reform the vices of the clergy. He rejected infant baptism, festivals, and ceremonies. Henricus was imprisoned by Pope Eugeʹnius III. in 1148.
