Gospel of Nicodemus (The).
Sometimes called “The Acts of Pilate” (Acta Pilātu), was the main source of the “Mysteries” and “Miracle Plays” of the Middle Ages; and although now deemed apocryphal, seems for many ages to have been accepted as genuine.
