Bull’s Eye.

A small cloud suddenly appearing, seemingly in violent motion, and growing out of itself. It soon covers the entire vault of heaven, producing a tumult of wind and rain. (1 Kings xviii. 44.)

Bull’s Eye. The inner disc of a target.

To make a bull’s eye. To gain some signal advantage; a successful coup. To fire or shoot an arrow right into the centre disc of the target.
