This black and white engraving has a strong sense of depth: the foregrounds has some bushes, a gardener working with a long-handled rake, then some couples in early Victorian fancy costumes - top hats and dark suits for the men, white billowing gowns for the women. But dominating the scene is the background: the castle, with a large round tower in the front of it and many more towers and turrets behind.
