Stimulaˊtion [stimolazione (F.) estimulacion (Sp.) of L.]
a pushing or forcing on as it were with a goad, a property in triangular bodies, whereby they cause vibrations, inflations of the fibres, and a greater derivation of nervous fluids into the parts affected.
