A nativity scene, or crib, or in the US a crêche or creche, showing the birth of Jesus, with Mary, a rather older Joseph figure than I would expect, an angel, and a small bowl of flowers (presumably petunias), all on the stone steps of a pyramid perhaps, and all contained in a triangle. It was a design for a mosaic to be made on the outside I think of a cathedral at Sienna, and would make a perfect xmas card I’m sure!.
