Notes:

The poet sits at a writing desk let by a candle. The image is printed in black and gold.

“I resolved that I would make a ditty, before I left my chamber, according to the words my master had spoken.” (p. 37)

I also made a version of this image with just the scholar, without the gold frame.

Evelyn Paul died in 1945, less than 70 years ago, so these images are not out of copyright in the UK, as I understand it.
