Chapter Heading woodcut featuring a flaming heart details

This decorative woodcut was used at the top of the first page of a chapter or section, as a decorative element. It features a heart on a pillar; there are flames bursting out of the heart, and the flames are surrounded by a halo of light.

It was very common for printers to reuse wood engravings like these for their books.

I also made a couple of deatils available as separate images: the flaming heart, standing on a pillar, and also the heart woodcut itself.
