[Architectural Period: Norman] STRATTON. A very uncommon Normon Font, but so plain in design and execution as to render description almost unnecessary. The bowl is cup-shaped, with a single round moulding, and the base is of the same form, but reversed and plain, the junction of the two being ornamented with the cable moulding. |
