Onyˊchomancy
Onyˊchomancy [’ονεcομανδεια (Gr.)] a sort of divination performed by the nails of an unpolluted boy, covered with oil and soot, which they turned to the sun,
the reflection of whose rays was believed to represent by certain images the thing they had a mind to be satisfied about.
