The three sisters.

The three rivers of Wye, Severn, and Rhiddall, were to run a race, to decide which should be first married to the ocean. Severn and Wye, having a great journey to go, chose their way through soft meadows, and kept on at a traveller’s pace; whilst Rhiddall, presuming on her short journey, staid before she went out, and, to recover her lost time, runs furiously in a distracted manner.
