Brother of Valinian, converted by the teaching of St. Cecilia, his sister-in-law, and baptised by Pope Urban. Being brought before Almachius the prefect, and commanded to worship the image of Jupiter, both the brothers refused, and were decapitated. (Chaucer: Secounde Nonnes Tale.)
